How to Play This Virtual Guitar

  1. Click any fret on the fretboard to play that note.
  2. Click a string label on the left (E2, A2, etc.) to play the open string.
  3. Drag across strings vertically to strum — the strings play with a natural stagger, just like a real guitar.
  4. Select a chord from the panel below to overlay finger positions on the fretboard, then press Strum Chord to hear it.
  5. Toggle Show Notes to display note names (C, D, E...) on every fret.

The virtual guitar includes 26 chords with fingering overlays: C, Cm, C#m, C7, D, Dm, D7, E, Em, Eb, E7, F, Fm, F#m, F7, G, G7, Gm, A, Am, Ab, A7, B, Bm, Bb, B7. Select any chord to see the finger positions highlighted on the fretboard and strum it with one click.
